Full Description
A mound of uncertain date is visible as an earthwork on LIDAR Environment Agency DTM 07-DEC-2017. The feature was mapped as part of the Thanet Landscape Mapping Project. (1)
Slight earthworks of two irregular mounds of uncertain origin seen at TR 3850 6795 in playing fields south of the Broadstairs Rd, St Peter's visible on Environment Agency Lidar and mapped mapped as part of the Historic England Ramsgate HAZ project. The larger mound measures 24m x 35m and is pear-shaped. The other lies to the immediate NW of the first and is a narrow curved linear bank which may form part of the first mound. (2)
