Full Description
A post-medieval farm building and a post-medieval or modern possible quarry were identified at Coleshall Farm, Iwade during an evaluation carried out in 2019. The structure comprised a series of walls and concrete floors associated with buildings forming part of the post-medieval farmstead surrounding Coleshall Farmhouse (TQ 86 NE 1166). The probable quarry measured in excess of 17.5m in length. Finds identified during the excavation included brick and peg-tile dating from the post-medieval and modern periods. (1)
