Full Description
Site of a Romney Hut built in 1946 at White Hill Grain Store, Boughton Aluph. The Romney Hut was designed originally for military use but in this case functioned as a farm building during the post-war period. Historic building recording was carried out at the site in 2017 in advance of the building's proposed demolition. The building was recorded as measuring 30 feet wide and 89 feet long, constructed out of ribs formed of steel tubing with a welded connection flange. (1)
