Possible evidence for ridge and furrow cultivation was identified during a geophysical survey carried out at Redrow, Paddock Wood in 2021. A series of positive and negative linear trends which could indicate the removal of post-medieval to modern orchards or ridge and furrow which could date to the mid-late medieval period.

Full Description

Possible evidence for ridge and furrow cultivation was identified during a geophysical survey carried out at Redrow, Paddock Wood in 2021. A series of positive and negative linear trends were interpreted (1) as either indicating the removal of orchards or of ridge and furrow which could date to the mid-late medieval period. (1)
