Summary
An undated ditch was identified during an evaluation carried out at Wises Lane, Sittingbourne in 2024. The excavated area of ditch measured 2m+ in length, 0.58m in width, and 0.12m in depth; however, the feature roughly corresponds with the location and alignment of a linear feature identified during a previous geophysical survey, therefore, its actual length may be much longer than 2m.

Full Description
An undated ditch was identified during an evaluation carried out at Wises Lane, Sittingbourne in 2024. The excavated area of ditch measured 2m+ in length, 0.58m in width, and 0.12m in depth; however, the feature roughly corresponds with the location and alignment of a linear feature identified during a previous geophysical survey, therefore, its actual length may be much longer than 2m. The GIS depiction of the feature is based on both the results of the geophysical survey and the extent of the excavated ditch. (1)
