Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age ditches, a late prehistoric tree throw, and a probable hollow way aligned NE-SW were identified during an evaluation carried out at Wises Lane, Borden in 2023.

Full Description

Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age ditches, a late prehistoric tree throw, and a probable hollow way were identified during an evaluation carried out at Wises Lane, Borden in 2023. Two of the ditches were dated by lithic evidence, whilst the other ditch remains undated but may also be Late Bronze Age or Early Iron Age in date. The hollow way was aligned aligned NE-SW and also produced lithics and pottery evidence for a Late Bronze Age or Early Iron Age date. (1)
