Full Description
Pleistocene head and brickearth deposits with Palaeolithic potential were identified during an evaluation carried out at Ufton Court Farm, Starveacre Lane in 2025. The deposit sequence at the site comprised Thanet formation overlain by weathered chalk, overlain by Pleistocene head and brickearth deposits, overlain by colluvium, subsoil, and topsoil. The Pleistocene deposits were considered to have Palaeolithic potential due to the number of worked flint artefacts discovered in the wider locality of the site. (1)
