Summary
In 2023, SWAT undertook an archaeological evaluation of land to the rear of 11 and 12 Waltham Close ahead of residential development.
There were no archaeological finds made. Three linear features and one pit were found. Due to the lack of finds, it was not possible to date these features.

Full Description
In 2023, SWAT undertook an archaeological evaluation of land to the rear of 11 and 12 Waltham Close ahead of residential development.
Sixteen trenches were excavated. Of those, Trenches 4 and 16 contained a linear feature each. Trench 15 contained a linear feature and a pit. There were no archaeological finds within these features so it was not possible to date these features. (1)
