Full Description
The second of two ships lost in this incident:
'1373. March 8. Westminster. Commission of oyer and terminer to William de Horne, William Batisford, Henry de Lewis and Alan de Twytham, on complaint by John Durant and George Mengis, masters and merchants of two ships of Portyngale, wrecked at Dengenasse by Romene, on the land and liberty of the abbot of Battle in the county of Kent, that some evildoers took their goods and wares in the ships at Dengenasse and carried them away without the abbot's liberty.'
