Full Description
A Second World War bomb crater visible as a water-filled earthwork depression with a diameter of c.20m seen at TQ 7364 7848 within a large low-lying field on Cliffe Marshes. This site was mapped from 1953 RAF aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The remains of the crater could still be seen as a sub-circular water-filled pond on aerial photographs taken in 2009. (1)
