Summary

The cropmark of a possible post medieval hollow way can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1978. This cropmark starts at a point south of the Cooling Road opposite the junction with Buckhole Farm Road. From here it heads south for circa 340m where it meets the railway line. The cropmark curves to the south west just before it is masked by the railway and a cropmark following this new direction can be seen for circa 50m on the southern side of the line. It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

The cropmark curves to the south west just before it is masked by the railway and a cropmark following this new direction can be seen for circa 50m on the southern side of the line.
