Summary

Two rectangular structures can be seen on Damhead Creek saltings on aerial photgraphs taken in 1952. These rectangular features were circa 7m by 4m had been removed by 1954. The location makes it unlikly that they were buildings while their form does not suggest wrecks . They were mapped from aerial photographs taken 1953 as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

Full Description

Two rectangular structures can be seen on Damhead Creek saltings on aerial photgraphs taken in 1952. These rectangular features, circa 7m by 4m, were centred on TQ 8172 7305. They had been removed by 1954. The location makes it unlikly that they were buildings while their form does not suggest wrecks . They were mapped from aerial photographs taken 1953 as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(1)
