Summary
An undated pit was identified during excavations at the former Swanscombe Clinic site carried out in 2011 by Archaeology South-East during groundworks associated with residential development at the site. No finds were recovered from the pit, therefore it was not possible to assign a date to the feature. The pit was overlain by a layer of subsoil dated to the 18th-19th century, and is therefore earlier in date.

An undated pit was identified during excavations at the former Swanscombe Clinic site carried out in 2011 by Archaeology South-East during groundworks associated with residential development at the site. No finds were recovered from the pit, therefore it was not possible to assign a date to the feature. The pit was overlain by a layer of subsoil dated to the 18th-19th century, and is therefore earlier in date. (1)
