Full Description

Pleistocene deposits with probable in situ flint artefacts overlain by Holocene alluvial deposits were identified during a borehole survey carried out by QUEST in 2015. Worked flint was recovered from later deposits which was determined to potentially date to the Mesolithic period.

Pleistocene deposits were also located during a 2014 ground investigation by EPS, although no artefacts were identified. (1)
