Full Description

A Mesolithic flint assemblage was identified during investigations at the former Syngenta Chemical Works in 2007-2008. The typology of the assemblage (including a tranchet adze-resharpening flake) is interpreted as potentially originating from a base camp rather than a hunting camp. (1)
