Potential grave cuts were identified during a Ground Penetrating Radar survey carried out at Whiffens Avenue by Magnitude Surveys. A Military Burial Ground is known from historic OS mapping to have existed at the site during the 19th century. The possible grave cuts were seen to respect pathways visible on these maps, suggesting they are contemporary features.
