Summary
Six early medieval burials were discovered during the construction of a replacement pylon at Dane Valley Road in 1960. The burials are located around 65m to the east of the known limits of a larger early medieval inhumation cemetery (TR 36 NE 60), and may date from the same phase of activity at the site.

Six early medieval burials were discovered during the construction of a replacement pylon at Dane Valley Road in 1960. The burials are located around 65m to the east of the known limits of a larger early medieval inhumation cemetery (TR 36 NE 60), and may date from the same phase of activity at the site. (1)
