LiDAR data held by the National Library of Scotland shows an extensive area of enclosures in Atchester Wood. They are not visible in historic mapping so presumalby pre-date the later 19th centiry. The enclosures include a paritcularly clear enclosure c. 100m x 70m at the north of the area and a set of possible extensions running away to the south-west.

LiDAR data held by the National Library of Scotland shows an extensive area of enclosures in Atchester Wood. They are not visible in historic mapping so presumalby pre-date the later 19th centiry. The enclosures include a paritcularly clear enclosure c. 100m x 70m at the north of the area and a set of possible extensions running away to the south-west. The enclosures are also visible on Environment Agency LiDAR data.
