Summary
The cropmark trace of two fragments of parallel linear ditch of uncertain date extending E-W for 22m and 35m respectively in a field to the north of Grain village. They may be geological in nature and may also have been destroyed through gravel extraction. Part of the southern ditch lies beneath the garden of one of the houses on the north side of Pannell Road. These ditches were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

They may be geological in nature and may also have been destroyed through gravel extraction. Part of the southern ditch lies beneath the garden of one of the houses on the north side of Pannell Road.
