Full Description

This road block protected a small farm bridge linking two fields across the Canterbury to Dover Railway; it probably stood on the north side of the tracks. The railway here was part of the Dover, Canterbury, Whitstable Stop Line, and this was clearly part of the associated defences, preventing enemy vehicles from crossing the railway. This road block was assigned the number 84 in a list of such structures published 2 December 1940.
