Abstract/Summary
The report details an initial archaeological survey and proposed excavation of a V-1 flying-bomb impact site in King’s Wood, Challock, Kent. The site, managed by Forestry England, was identified through archival research, aerial photography, and magnetometer surveys, confirming the presence of a V-1 crater and associated metallic remains. Finds included V-1 engine and casing fragments.
