Abstract/Summary
Between January and July 2023, Canterbury Archaeological Trust undertook an archaeological strip, map and sample excavation on Land at Manston Road, Ramsgate, Kent. This report provides a post-excavation assessment of archaeological data and artefactual material recovered during both the evaluation and strip, map and sample excavation. The excavation mostly revealed features of prehistoric and late Iron Age/early Romano-British date, as well as a concentration of medieval features located within the south-west corner of the site.
